Details as follows:
Large-scale projections of photographs taken in African cities by architect David Adjaye as part of his ongoing research into new patterns of urbanism, which addresses the scant existing documentation of the built environment in Africa.
One of the leading architects of his generation, David Adjaye has stepped out of his regular line of work to photograph and document key cities in Africa as part of an ongoing project to study new patterns of urbanism. Often regarded as a continent defined by underdevelopment, poverty, war and tourism, through this exhibition Adjaye presents Africa in a different light, examining the buildings and places which have a special resonance with his preoccupations as an architect.
This detailed survey will reveal a unique snapshot of life in Africa today, documenting the nature of urban life in a developing continent, a unique geo-cultural survey profiling the African city in a global context.

Take your homies....The Blind Side
This weekend The Blind Side is showing nationwide and with rave reviews don't be the only one left who hasn't seen it.
Sandra Bullock stars in this amazing true life account of a troubled teenager that she takes into her family. This isn't a chick flick it's for everyone and is fast becoming some of my male friends favourite film. I think its the message of hope and the fact that life is what you do to help others.

PAPER HORSE
A'cappella / Acousmatic / Tape music / Experimental - Paper Horse creates songs that grow and build in front of your very ears. It's the sort of music that sends you away with the thought that you were a part of something being created, and all you've done is stood there open mouthed.

THE YUYA
Their influences are untraceable but one thing is sure, they are very refreshing. For a duo, with only a guitar, the sound is big and unexpected. Constance voice is something I thought was sadly extinct after 1969 but I was wrong;to the sound of her voice you
will melt.
