JLS, Britain's favourite new boyband in a generation, were runners-up in the fifth series of The X Factor.
Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan 'JB' Gill, and Oritsé Williams signed to Epic Records at the beginning of 2009 and enjoyed continued chart success throughout the year. Their debut single Beat Again went to number-one in the UK Singles Chart selling over 100,000 copies in its first week of release. Their second single Everybody in Love topped the UK Singles Chart, selling over 120,000 copies in its first week. The band's eponymous debut album was released on 9 November 2009 and has since gone triple Platinum, with sales of over 900,000 in the UK alone.

JLS won Best Newcomers and Best Song (Beat Again) at the 2009 MOBO Awards and are nominated for three Brit Awards.

Earthquake disaster relief for Haiti

Haiti was hit yesterday by a major earthquake, only today is the world now receiving information on the full depth and scale of this natural disaster.
This month at Clash Diaries is the 'Get Better'  month. One way of doing this is by reaching out a hand to help others. We at Clash Diaries understand this and wanted to find ways we could donate or help.
Below are a list of charities that are on the scene. Wyclef John who is Haitian
