Poejazzi, as part of its Year of the Poet season, triumphantly returns to the E4 Udderbelly; this time featuring Yungun - the internationally-acclaimed wordsmith praised by Zane Lowe and Mark Ronson, and who has supported Slum Village and De La Soul – with a live band and his brilliant upcoming album, “Middleman”; fast-rising band Benin City, whose Outkast-meets-James Brown sound is highly-rated by Xfm, BBC6 Music, SoccerAM and Reuters - and Inua Ellams, whose stellar one-man poetry show recently completed ten dates at The National Theatre. Hosted by exceptional new singer-songwriter Lail Arad.


Time: Doors at 7, show from 9 to 11pm


Price: £12 + admin.

Lunch time Special | Chocolate Festival


Outdoor festival at the Southbank Centre featuring chocolatiers and chocolate companies. Pastry chefs from restaurants including the Festival Hall's Skylon will be creating treats using Valrhona chocolate (Fri 2-7pm), as well as chocolate sculptures (viewable Fri-Sun 10am-11pm at the RFH Festival Riverside Level 1 entrance). Exhibitors hosting stalls include William Curley, Rococo and Hotel Chocolat.

World Press Photo Exhibition

This exhibition is held annually and showcases the best photojournalism of the past year, on events including the Sichaun province earthquake in China and the Beijing Olympics, as well as portraits of Barack and Michelle Obama.
