Acts on the night will consist of......

  • DIANA EVANS - the prize-winning author of the acclaimed '26a' reads from her latest novel, 'The Wonder', which is set, more or less, in The Tabernacle itself ...
  • KATE TEMPEST - hip hop refugee, poet and possessor of the voice that ate a thousand razor blades and lived to tell the tale, often with her band, Sound Of Rum
  • ROSS SUTHERLAND - sometime poetry pop star and founder member and leading light among those notorious, literary rapscallions, Aisle 16
  • UNITED VIBRATIONS - 12 Tone-revolutionary, melting-pot-dip-dab, après-Afrobeat, punk-à-porter pioneers



Book Slam is London’s first/ best/ only literary nightclub, which features all the top writers, the finest live music and a semi-professional Serbian DJ. Their guests have included the likes of  Hanif Kureishi, Dave Eggers, Adele, Nick Hornby, Kate Nash and many more. We're sure you'll have fun doing things a lil' different!
